Thanks for the recommendation! |
That's great!! |
I would try to use the NB rolls as enticement to eat the rest of his dry kibble. They are super rich, just smell them and you'll smell how strong they are. If I give my 2 any more than just a bit of an NB roll they puke all night long. I would crumble a bit of the NB roll on top of his dry kibble. I have a super picky eater too, and I know how much you worry over him getting nutrition. You get to the point where you'd feed him ANYTHING as long as he ate (or at least I've felt that way). The things I've found that work are Timberwolf, it is the ONLY dry kibble my dogs will touch, but even at that...sometimes Ollie won't eat it. I mix a big spoonful of cottage cheese into it and that usually does the trick. Other add-ins that seem to work are a squirt of the Kong stuffin junk, parmesan cheese sprinkled on top, or a bit of tuna or tuna juice mixed in. It almost seems like the stinkier it is...the more they like it. I also have mixed in some wet NB duck/potato food before and that helped too. Good luck, I know how hard it is! |
Think twice about NB rolls... Personally, I would be very wary of the NB rolls. They contain sugar, salt and a lot of wheat ...none of which I want my baby having! |

I agree with the sinkier the better. Oscar dosen't want his NB dry food unless there is a little bit of the wet food mixed in. I buy the small cans and can get at least 3 days out of them so it isn't too expensive. Who knows why they like the stinky food. |
