| ![]() i got Sadie at 7 weeks old against the advice of yorkie talkers, the only reason i did this is because my heart was already attached to her before i knew it wasn't good for her and because i wanted to take care of her and take her away from her breeder because he was not responsible about keeping the pups with their mommies long enough and was going to take her mom away whether i got her or not, so i sorta rescued her but in turn enabled the guy to breed even more puppies and shouldn't have enabled him to do so. i do not regret getting Sadie for a minute, she is an angel and in great health and i'm very lucky. the reason you are doing better at 12++ weeks old for me is the biting. puppies at too little an age come home and bite A LOT and it's much harder to train them right as a human parent than it would have been for her dog mama and siblings to have taught her about "inhibited bite" you'll do just fine and congrats on finding what seems like a responsible breeder and getting a new baby! |
