I like to say I grew up on Blue Bell and Budweiser (but not seriously!). My mom works for Blue Bell and my dad for Anheuser Busch and have for a long time.

It would be a good idea to have a get together in Brenhem - even though it is a loooong way away for some people, there is a pretty large contingency living within driving distance of Brenhem.

Yes! Then maybe I could actually attend it. I'm kinda serious though about having some sort of meet-up for those that want to come to Brenham. It's really nice here in the Spring. I've got our housewarming party next month and then the whole holiday craziness but I'd consider having a little gathering at my house if anyone was really interested. I just might be the most central of us - although my geographical knowledge is not the best so I can't be sure of that without looking over everyone's answers again.

I will definitely host a get together in Brenham at my house if some of you would attend. The Houston and Austin people would be pretty close to me but of course any ol' Texans could come - depending on how far you want to travel. Sounds like there's a few people closer to the Dallas area too so ya'll should get together. I'm not sure about all areas but for me to get to my sister's in Mansfield (Dallas area), it's about 3.5 hours. I really hate to drive - although you wouldn't guess that because I commute to College Station every day (about an hour or so one way) for work. That's probably why I don't like to drive for leisure-sake. Do too much of it during the week. Like I said, with our housewarming and all the huge holiday family gatherings we're committed to, the Spring-time would work best for us. We'll revisit this after the first of the year and make definite plans, okay?
