| I'm in Lubbock, TX. But I've lived all over Texas and we may be moving to El Paso or Dallas in the near future.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Dang, all those women in Texas sounds like a George Strait song. Seriously, that's a lot of YTers from one state. Do a lot of you know each other and encourage other Texans to join YT? Yours truly, The Lone Alaskan

| Do we KNOW each other - well yes, some probably do - but Texas is so freakin' big that most of us are waaaaaay far apart (of course, so is Alaska!!!) . For example, I live in Austin, right in the middle of the state, and El Paso is about 12 hours from here!!! It's so far away, it's even in a different time zone (double ) Actually, I'm only and hour and a half from Waco, but that's the closest Yorkie Talker that I've seen so far on the Texas thread.

| And Brenham is pretty much smack-dab between Austin and Houston.... about 1.5 hours (give or take) from each. So maybe we should have a meet-up in Brenham and that would make it equal travel for the Houston and Austin people. But the others would still have quite a drive. It takes FOREVER to cross Texas. When I was little I thought it took that long to cross any state (we took a lot of car trips). Then I learned you can cross some states in just a couple/few hours. Just to get OUT of TX was at least an entire day trip....
