| Im sooo worried! This morning when I was leaving the house I noticed Charlie was chewing on something so I got it out of his mouth and it was 2 wrappers for these chocolate caramels, I do not know how on earth he got these! He ate both of the caramels I'm so worried I had to leave him at home and go to work.. will he be okay? |

| How much does he weigh? I had a dog eat an entire bag of the small reeses peanut butter cups, foil wrappers and all, and didnt even get sick. That same dog also ate an entire box of Sarris chocolate covered pretzels and was completely fine. So you should be fine, I would just watch for him to be constipated from the caramel. Hope this helps

| How big is he? Considering since the caramels were just chocolate covered I think he should be fine. I know dark chocolate is worse. I know the signs can take even up to a day to show up. |

| Chocolate is Toxic!!! I would take off work and get him to the Vet. He may be okay, may not. Vet is best to decide I think.

| Quit. Or get a neighbor or relative to check on him for you. Even if they have to break-in.

| Stop worrying, he'll be fine. But since the ogre you work for won't let you leave, call your vet and tell them what happened. They will be able to ease your mind more then any of us.

YT 1000 Club Member | My sons g/f made pb choc cookies the other day. His dog lovessss pb. He got up to the table and ate half the batch including one great big cookie that was made of the last bit of dough. He was fine. Never got sick or seemed to phase him. I'm sure he's fine there's not that much choc. on those caramels. If you can't leave and your worried how about making a call to your vet explaining your situation and see what they say.
