owner giving up 2 cute yorkies An owner in L.A. area is giving up her 2 yorkies becuase she has to leave the US for 1 year. She is selling them for $500 for both. THey are georgeous. I live in an apt, and don't have the room for 2 more dogs. She doesn't want to separate them. I really want to these 2 dogs to go to a loving home, apparently the owner has more things to worry than these 2 babies. Anyone interested in adopting these cuties? or maybe one and i'll take the other? I think having a playmate for Bambi wouldn't be too bad. haha Last edited by bbdolphin; 09-26-2005 at 12:24 PM.

Hi there! I'm actually from florida...but I was wondering if there is any safe doggy transport method cross country. Are they spayed/neutered? Just interested due to my having a male, and marking, etc. This may be all null and void without a transport method, but my husband and I would most likely be very interested in them, since we are looking for playmates for Bender, but we are on a tight budget with med bills and such...unfortunately traveling xcountry in my car alone, being in a wheelchair, probably not the best idea :/ Hence the shipping.

one is male 6lb , one female 4lb. both spayed/neutered. AKC registered. no children the owner said they haven't really been around children. the female was hit by a car years ago, but she said she recovered well. i might go check them out so i can see their temperaments. sigh...poor dogs. d

Aww, unfortunately we can't take them anyway...due to the children thing. There are no small children around, but my cousins often come over to visit me, and they are around 10-14. Hope you can find a good home for them! They are super cute! The boy looks exactly like my mother's dog! -LeAnn

Too bad Awe man! My guy is 2, so he would probaby just annoy them. Plus I have many nieces and nephews that like to come over and play. I'm sure those 2 cuties will find a home soon.

ok. i just talked to the owner. She is leaving the country to live in europe for a year...blah blah blah...so...apparently she's leaving tonight or tomorrow night. She was waiting for her neighbor and her condo committee to allow the dogs to stay, but she said she waited too long. She also said a friend's friend offered to take the dogs, but she was afraid becuase that friend was upset with her for leaving the dogs (i was like...doh..) i would too.. but i remained nice and calm on the phone. So i told her at the end if things don't work out with the friend/neighbor, and if she has to put them in rescue, i'll take them....gosh..i don't know what i'll do. as for the temperaments of the dogs. She said they're housetrained. very playful. but one's a barker, and the other one will follow. good with other dogs.
