:( Coach has gotten mad at me and peepees on me all the time he realy hates me so I will have to find a new home for him.:( Any ideas on what I can do to find him a loving home?:(

Your joking right? You are going to rehome your dog because he peed/pees on you? Have you taken into consideration that he might have something internal wrong with him??? I find it a little extreme to rehome him for that reason alone! I have been peed on by Marley and I did not rehome her! Please tell me you are joking. You can work on potty training him.

He is pottitrained and I just had him checked by the vet he does not do it to anyone else but me:( I love himsooo much and not only that he has been trying to bite me he is ok with my husband and kids and my other dogs its just me he does that to.:( Its crazy at first I took him to the vet cause I thought he has an infection or something but he is fine.

I know your upset but he didn't do that because he's dosen't like
you he did it because he had to go to the bathroom and probably
couldn't hold it! When was the last time he was out to potty?

Yes. I dont understand what is wrong with him!! How can I help my baby? I took him to the vet this morning again and everything is fine.

Trust me he had just gone out to pee pee and poopy and as soon as we walked in he did it and he has don that since yesterday when I picked him up from the vet.

My Boy is 2. I've had him almost a year. He pooped in the living room two nights in a row. I'm not going to rehome him, I'm going to walk him more often!!! Your little one was under anesthsia and has had a serious change in his life! Has he done this before or is this something new?

He started doing this last night and it's just me he does this to so thats why I don't get it.

he may be just having issues with you right now because you took him to be neutered. He will probably get over it soon. If he just started it yesterday it seems to you are kinda quick to judgement and decide to rehome him already. Just my opinion. If you love him it would seem to me you would give it some time. He has been through a lot in the last 24 hours if you just got him neutered yesterday.

Is he marking on you or urinating on you? Likely the former, & he could be trying to establish his dominance.

I didn't see the recently neutered post until after I wrote the above. May be a factor.

When I got Marley home from her spay she would just look up at me in a dazed state from all the anesthesia s and pee, right there in front of me, peeing on my carpet. You can't blame them, they are all drugged up and the poor thing was just neutered, give him a chance will yah?

Since he never did this before and you just had him neutered the day before, I would think that there was probably a release of hormones when he was cut. I would think it would go away in a few days. But how could you have one bad day of him doing this and then want to give him away? Maybe you should find him a loving home!

Please reconsider. My dogs hate me for about a week after they go to the vet. I think it's there personal way of getting back at me. I hope that you reconsider.

I agree, I can't even imagine rehoming my furbutts even if they did this on a constant basis. Maybe you should find a different home for him if your feelings towards him can change on a whim like that. He needs a stable environment just like any other living creature. Not someone who is looking to rehome him everytime he does something like this.

This seems to be a good point. It could be marking. Are you the only one holding Him?

I think I was agitated when I posted -- the typos may make it difficult to read. It should say:

The extra hormones has him mixed up and he is "marking" you. ( and )

I may be off here but I took her post differently.. as in.. your being nice (r) than I would be... sorry to stick my nose in it but it is easy to read it differently... I guess in that case, I could be mis-reading it as well.

Nevermind.. I am having my own conversation with myself through my post.
:D ...I do agree that the OP needs to reconsider and try to get to the bottom of things as to why this happened or is happening before she rids herself of the dog... its a shame to see these animals being tossed aside because of an inconvenience that chances are could be remedied.

If that was the case in this thread then I apologize, but in another thread I have posted in she is telling us we need to just leave the lady alone and telling her to do whatever she wants to ( get the dog that she does not really need ). I just want people to practice what they preach. If you wouldnt give one of your AKC bred pups to someone, why would you enourage them to take on a pound puppy. I think that is saying " Hey, you arent up to my standards for one of MY pups, but you can have a rescue".. its sooo irritating. I look at it like this... to me its saying that AKC pups from breeders deserve better treatment and should have " better" owners... it really really really makes my blood boil. If you wouldnt approve her for one of YOUR dogs, stop telling her to go get a rescue. If she is not capable of taking care of YOUR dog in way that is up to YOUR standards, why is she capable of taking care of a rescue, which often times requires more attention and money than an AKC?!

If you want to see something funny go to a dog show where none of the dogs are neutered and watch them lift their legs on their owners. This is what dogs do. Since Coach just got neutered this is not a big deal. I am more concerned that you would be getting rid of him in one day for this...what are you going to do when he pee's in the house?

I just wanted to say that I rescued a Dorkie and as soon as he got here he started marking (the first couple of hours). That was 2 days ago and he hasnt done it since. I cleaned the carpets and watched his every move and so far, no more.

What is needed here is patience. You have to give him time. You have had him a WEEK! Please listen to everyone, and dont take it personal.
