Thank you for saying this. I have said the same things in the past and I think it is so wrong to make these statements about rescue. These animals do not deserve this lack of respect..they didn't do anything but their breeders/owners did. Many Yorkies that come into rescue are AKC papered and their breeders would not take them back (shame on the breeders) and the breeders placed them in bad homes.

I believe that either you care about all animals or you are just self serving.

I already apologized if she was not meaning it like that in THIS thread. I am just frustrated with another thread she posted in and I think when I read this it was the straw that broke the camels back, even if it was innocent joking. I am just really frustrated with people on here being "nice" for the sake of someones feelings when they could be honest with tact. I've seen too many people on here encouraging people that need to be DISCOURAGED on here lately and it upsets me.

:D ...I do agree that the OP needs to reconsider and try to get to the bottom of things as to why this happened or is happening before she rids herself of the dog... its a shame to see these animals being tossed aside because of an inconvenience that chances are could be remedied.
I took her post in the same way. Good lord people need to stop with the bickering already, it's annoying now :(

I agree. I think right now your feelings are hurt :(. You sign your posts "I love Yorkies". If this is true please give Coach another chance. Later, if you still feel the same way then maybe Coach isn't the Yorkie for you and he might be happier in a new home but don't overreact or you may be very sorry.

Trust me , I am not bickering.. if i said HALF the things I wanted to say on here daily i would be banned 1897234785346987 times already... but I have already apologized like i said if i took it the wrong way..

It's just not you , it's a whole slew of people. Enough is enough already. We are always going to read posts we don't like or agree with, but to keep harping on it is ridiculous . We should focus on what we DO have in common instead of what we don't.. JMHO :)

Well I dont know but since he got neutered on saturday but could not pickup till monday you think he would still be drugged up and that is why he is doing this. My husband just took him out I was in my bed room and as soon as he was standing in front of me he peed my feet. I love him and I know I maybe said the wrong thing while I was upset but how can I maqke him stop. I dont want my other boy doing the same thing.

no he shouldnt still be sedated if he stayed overnight
if he goes to pee on you say no really quick grab him up take him back outside until he learns its not ok! it takes time after being neutered for the male hormones and lifting urge to go away odd hes only peeing on you maybe even try a spray bottle with vinegar & water in it if he tries to pee on or bite BUT that being said if i have a child i would not want a dog in the house that bites! if i did get one that was already 3 i would contact whoever i originally got the dog from to begin with if it became a problem! hope it works out whatever has to be done!

Please have patients with this baby. He was just castrated. They need lots of TLC for about a week. After that please send me an email and I will help you...Please do not take him to a shelter, we can help you.....Lissette

Not trying to start anything -- I think highly of Dee/Sugar's Mom, especially as a breeder, but I have to admit, I was not sure how she meant it either, probably because of the other thread too.

Trust me I would never even think about taking him or any dog to a shelter I love dogs to much and I dot have the heart to do something like that. I am going to go trought potty training with him and see if that helps but I was never thinking of a shelter.

No one hates you! Honest! Even if I might not have liked what you typed, I can still understand having a day of frustration. It was the finality of the post title that really got me. It sounds like now, you may have second thoughts and that is good! I doubt there are many that have not had a day of wondering if a new pet was going to work out. I had a dachshund that took 6 months to housetrain! I was at my wit's end and probably said a few things I did not really mean. So, stay and be welcome! There is a lot of help here if this habit continues. But I bet if he did not do it before the surgery, it is just the release of hormone from being cut. He will probably be back to his pre-surgery self within a couple of days or more.

Hang in there -- we'll both try for more patience! :D

I don't hate you!!! Please stay and look at the training section on here.. you will see that you are not the only one with potty issues!!! I have even had days where I thought adding a second dog was a big mistake... things take time.. and i think you have had time to come to that conclusion.. Trust me, I know where you are coming from when it comes to saying things that you don't mean.. I do it all the time with my DH :rolleyes: Tee Heehee:D

You've had him for one week? Please, please give him some more time to get used to his new home. He just had surgery and is in a new home... there's a good chance that he might be stressed or have some anxiety and will stop doing this after he settles in and if you work with him. I don't think it's fair to him to react so quickly and move him to yet another home. Please think about what's best for him.

He might be trying to mark you as his, or maybe he is just mad at you. These guys usually have a reason for doing what they do even though it sometimes does not make any sense to us. I have been peed on many times. My dog is an excitement pee-er, and has also peed on may of my firends who seem to think it is funny.

So I take a little evening break and come back to find a little more YT excitement to fill my evening. :p

jtamaura~you spoke in haste and I say that all if now forgiven. :) Everyone is willing to more on and you have admitted that you jumped the gun a wee little bit ;) There is plenty of information that we can all offer you to help with your rescue and his little issue. If you need any help or advice I am always willing to offer whatever I can to help. Please feel fee to PM me when ever you like if you are feeling frustrated of overwhelmed with your new addition. I have a dog pee story to share with you........June 28th I spilled in dog pee and fell breaking my arm in 3 places. I had surgery to put my arm back together and now am having PT for 8 weeks or possibly longer. I was not been able to get myself dressed, put on my makeup or many other things for myself for weeks. But I still have all of my pups here and I know exactly which on caused my little accident. Take a look at him how could I ever give him away :D

That picture is adorable! Looks like he is saying, "I really didn't mean to mom!" Hope your arm is recovering nicely with PT. 3 places -- OUCH!

8 screws and a plate :eek: It is doing much better. They told me that I have about 10% more before I can be released but that 10% is really kicking my butt big time.

Just look at my Doodlebugs face! I should have submitted him for the YT calendar. Oh wait that's another thread :p
