| Hello and welcome How old is your Yorkie and how is he doing with the new baby in the house? That is one thing I'm kinda worried about Dinero when we have kids...

| Dan and Layla I'm doing great with the baby. We got soooo lucky since she is such a mellow little lady. Dan, of course, was the center of our world before Layla but he is not clingy at all. In some ways he is more like a cat so I think he is a bit relieved we have some other little creature to bother. However, as I mentioned before, he LOVES all her blankets. When we lay them out to do our swaddle he jumps right on top and looks at us like..."WHAT?, this isn't MY blanket?". Now he understands he has to share the center of our universe. From this picture, you can see, he knows that our daughter is just another valuable member of the pack that needs to be protected by the tiny Emperor Dan. Oh and I forgot to mention that Dan is almost 11 Dan and Layla Last edited by SheilaCameron; 09-25-2005 at 07:35 PM. |

| Thanks! It is so funny on one of our earliest outings with her, we met a yorkie named Layla! We flipped out laughing. Then I just saw last week Oprah named her new puppy Layla too. I wish Oprah would stop copying me! Geesh. |

| Oh yeah. Our house and neighborhood went unscathed. I just live about 10 minutes south of Houston. It barely rained here, but we went south to Corpus to get away from all of the "drama" of going north like most of the folks did. Plus we didn't want my boys (all 4 of them -- 2 human, 2 furry) to be traumatized at home if the "big one" did hit. It was a great road trip for all of us! There were tons of people from the Houston area down there and lots of dogs -- we even met some yorkies.

| Just wanted to say WELCOME! I was able to see a little bit of your art from your website; however it was performing maintenance during that time so I will have to check back later. Congrats on your baby girl!
