Sad little faces when I leave for work

I wish I was independently wealthy and never had to leave to go to work. I am lucky enough in the summers to take Thurs and Fridays off as vacation days . . .to be with them . . .I HATE HATE HATE having to go to work and leaving them . . . We've had Brody now 2 1/2 years and he hasn't changed one bit . . .every day when he sees me getting ready to go . .he rolls on his back and wants me to rub his belly . . .then when I get to the door of the garage he runs to me so I can do it again . . .it just breaks my heart . . .he's like "nooooooooo mommy, don't go!!"

Rhianna on the other hand is like "catch ya later" At least she jumps up and down and screams when I get home from work . . .

I look forward to my weekends so I can spend all day just hanging with them . . .they are so much into routine . . .they are very smart!!

Yes it's very sad. That's what Teddy used to do but now when I get up eary he gets up and goes to lay in his bed he does not follow me around anymore. But as heart breaking as it is to leave him I love the way he reacts when I get home! He jumps around like crazy and licks me all over my face!! I'm sure your babies give you the same reaction so it's kinda worth it in a way

but yes she comes to the baby gate by the hall way every morning to say hi and good morning mom, and then everything she hears my voice down the hall while i'm talking to mike she comes running to the baby gate to see me....and now she's sitting patiently at the door when i go out to leave for work...what a good little girl she is

Oh, I'm sure that they manage to occupy themselves...I think it's more my missing them than anything, lol. I see remants of what they do, like if I leave a paper towel around, watch out, it's like a snowstorm in the house!

For Maggie, as soon as she hears my hairdryer, she knows that it's me running around upstairs and the whining starts. I can hear her all the way upstairs!

I'm with you about work. I was very fortunate that I was able to be home with them this long but the economy is running the show now so off to work I go.

Awwww, I would be melting everyday if mine did that to me. That would just tear me up!

I do love the greeting I get when I get home, and yeah, I guess it does make up for it somehow. I just wish the work week was 4 days instead of 5, even better...3? lol

Sugar can tell the difference between the week days and weekends. During the week as soon as I finish getting ready and turn on the radio for her she RUNS and HIDES I feel so bad! I turn on the radio on the weekends , she could care less

I catch her to carry her to her "room" and she won't even give me ONE kiss on the way in And Sugar is a KISSER

All of her food is left in the dish until I come home ~ then she scarfs it down

That's funny, in a cute sort of way. Itsn't it amazing how they let you know they are mad at you?! I've been nose to nose with them and neither will kiss me. those little boogers. We love them all, don't we?
