| marking on people's feet!? What's going on? Yesterday, out of nowhere, Baci (who ia 2 y/o male, neutered, rehomed to me about a month ago) started raising his leg to try and mark on my friend Kelly's feet - twice! She was barefoot. And then he tried to do it to me later last night (I had on socks- we had just gotten back from our evening walk). He has been really good about pottying on pads or outside for the most part. He only had one bad day marking in my dining room- and that was when my little girl Bella was sick and getting a lot of attention a week ago. I don't know why he suddenly started doing this. Is this in any way normal? I don't know why he would try and mark on a person. What do I do?

I did tell him "no" loudly and take him outside. Luckily for us, both times he had just pottied outside previously and there was no pee left in his bladder to actually get on us- but he sure was trying! LOL- I'm still getting to know about Baci- but he is quite territorial come to think of it- whenever I'm giving Bella attention, he tries to get up in my lap and push her out of the way. Cheeky little guy. I can't believe he thinks I'm "his" and he thinks he should pee on me to make sure everyone else knows it- LOL. When he did it to my friend, I figured he smelled her male dog's scent on her feet or something, but I don't think I would smell like another dog, so he must have just been trying to "claim" me. I really hope we can nip this behavior in the bud and this won't be ongoing.

| Oh lord!! Riley and raising up his leg. Lol. I use to have the hardest time trying to get him to stop doing that. Hes actually NEVER actually marked though. For some reason he just raises up his legs on people's feet. Its a bit weird since he has never marked before. Hopefully you will have better luck getting him to stop. He stopped for a while, but started doing it again when he was with me. |

| Thank God for the "Belly Bands" or I'd only accept female Yorkie rescues!

| marking on peoples feet That's funny. Tucker is becomg really macho now. He's nine months old, and is marking my husband's chair in the breakfast room. They are the only two males in the house. Weird, because he doesn't do it anyplace else. He needs to ne neutered. He also has an undescended testicle that will have to be taken care of. He may have just one, but he's all male. I didn't want to rush him into surgery so soon after his AAI surgery. He was diagnosed with that at 5 mos. Otherwise, he would have been neutered at 6 mos. WE leave on our 17 day cruise in three weeks. I don't want to do it until we get back. His baby sitter is always overly concerned about him, and I don't want to worry her with anything else. It will be so hard to leave him, but his sitter will live in iour house with him. He loves her, and she loves him. So, everything will be fine. Tucker's Mom |

| Hes not getting enough attention. If your attention is not focused on him he's getting jealous. Funny my 4yo boy lifted a leg on my foot about 3 weeks ago, out of nowhere. I was standing with a group of people around me and they were all talking and I was talking with them and suddenly felt something warm and wet on my bare foot. I look down and he's lifting a leg on me. I believe he was telling them ALL that I was HIS. Bad Bad! He immediately stopped when I noticed him and said NO but for some reason this little guy thinks he is my master, not vica versa. ugh!
