| Hi,new to forum, but have been reading. Hi everyone,we have been reading threads for a while to get info for our little yorkie, and your site is great, seem like some really great people here,we have always been pet lovers, have had 2 poodles, lost the love of our life last year and decided to get a yorkie, she is the most loving little thing ever, but sadly we are going to find her a new home,my health is not too good and she requires attention,as you all know, any advice would be great as we really hate to give her up,we are already getting very attached, she is already pad trained[80%] most of the time, any way thanks for your great website, and caring people, have a great day. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | What a little doll, I'm so sorry to hear about your health, but I can tell you that the first 6 months are the hardest, and after a year they require much less of your energy. Joey sleeps so much of the day, and I had a bout with the flu a few weeks ago, and he was contented to sleep all day in bed with me. I was so glad he was pee pad trained because he could just go to the bathroom whenever he needed, and then snuggled back in bed with me. I think he was disappointed to see me get better. We do have a rescue section here, Yorkie Rescues & New Homes Needed - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community and one member, megansmomma, is very involved in rescues and if you contact her, she might be able to offer you tips. Megansmomma's Page. Best of luck!

| Welcome to YT! Like they are saying, it does get better. She's a beautiful princess, but I know I can't have her I have three. Best of luck to you in working your situation out. It would be really hard for me to let that little gem go.
