What a little doll, I'm so sorry to hear about your health, but I can tell you that the first 6 months are the hardest, and after a year they require much less of your energy. Joey sleeps so much of the day, and I had a bout with the flu a few weeks ago, and he was contented to sleep all day in bed with me. I was so glad he was pee pad trained because he could just go to the bathroom whenever he needed, and then snuggled back in bed with me. I think he was disappointed to see me get better.
