It's hard to decipher the feelings or emotions behind the written word ~ I agree that some come across as rude but it could just be phrasing. The knowledge on this board is amazing....keep it up(beat) | |

But if there were nobody buying puppies from these people there would be no need for breeding stock and slowly those dogs would end up in rescues and placed in loving homes. That is why they say if you buy from a puppy mill you are not rescuing but perpetuating the suffering ,thats pups empty slot just makes room for another puppy....Its never ending until the buyers change the demand.

| I know I have been away for awhile but I want to jump in here for a minute~First, welcome to YT. I have been a member here for almost 5 years and I have seen the awareness, education, knowledge, passion and advocacy increase throughout the years. All of these actions are beneficial but can sometimes come across in the wrong way. yorkietalk has always been about sharing information and education from people who are or have had similar experiences. The topic of byb's and puppy mills is one that hits almost all of us because we have or know people who have babies from these situations. It's a long fight to stop them but we are trying. I know that when I first joined I didn't know anything about either but I've learned and tried to do the best I can with that knowledge. Let's all try to have some compassion and learn to educate people in a respectful, honest, helpful manner. That's really the best we can do~ |
