I can't wait to see where its being held! I think it would be alot of fun to meet everyone! The pictures from the last one look great!

Its open to any YT member as long as you pay your registration.

Also just to add, I dont think the location has been determined or even the planning committee.

It was just said if it was on East Coast this year then next year it would be West Coast. I think a lot assume its California bc its the biggest. There are other states, Oregon, Washington that might be more cost effective. But the planning committee will figure out whats best.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it to the 2010 Meetup... I had a blast planning the 2009 Meetup but I have a ton of family stuff going on this year which means I can't take the lead on planning either. I can say this... whoever does volunteer to head up the 2010 planning committee should be prepared for a fulltime commitment. I loved every minute of it (Ok ALMOST every minute!) but last years meetup totally took over my life for a whole 6-8 months prior to the actual day and there were still things I think I could've done better.

I would be more than happy to help advise the 2010 meetup team and ease the transition in any way possible so that this years meetup will be even better than the first 2!

The San Francisco Bay Area would be great. The bay area is very dog friendly, great weather too!
