Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it to the 2010 Meetup... I had a blast planning the 2009 Meetup but I have a ton of family stuff going on this year which means I can't take the lead on planning either. I can say this... whoever does volunteer to head up the 2010 planning committee should be prepared for a fulltime commitment. I loved every minute of it (Ok ALMOST every minute!) but last years meetup totally took over my life for a whole 6-8 months prior to the actual day and there were still things I think I could've done better.
I would be more than happy to help advise the 2010 meetup team and ease the transition in any way possible so that this years meetup will be even better than the first 2!
