| ![]() where i live it cost about $40-$80 to get the full groom depending on where you go. it does get kind of pricey especially if you have more than one dog. it would be best if you know how to groom your own dog. but it's not easy, and you need patience which not all of us have ![]() good luck! |

| ![]() Apple had her first haircut yesterday, and it was $38, and I gave her a $10 tip...she said it would only be $25 next time, but I guess that's because I told her I was going to let Apple's grow out, and just wanted the puppy hair cut off yesterday... |

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() My groomer does whatever I want done for a flat rate. It's like 35 dollars. I try to give her a good tip too.Last time she had to pink bows in and it was so adorable. I'd rather have those instead of the kerchief's. She said she used a hemostat to get them in. Roxie's hair is so fine and the bands on the bows are so tiny. I drop her off and she calls me about 45 minutes later to let me know she's done and I can pick her up anytime but no hurry. One day she had quite a few dogs in there and she must have just did Roxie first even though she wasn't the first one there. I think she likes Roxie because she's never been yappy and always cooperative for her grooming.

| ![]() Ouch , $60 dollars for a trim. I guess with that money I'll be buying my own clippers and doing it myself. The only part I'm worried about trimming is around the eye area. Any tips on trimming around the eyes?

| ![]() My Tinkerbell refuses to eat and just lays around when her glands get even partially full. After she's done, she runs to the nearest chair for a full body rub, then she runs to her food bowl and cleans it out, then grabs 2-3 squeak toys and barks incessantly for me to play with her. Normally she's a rocket from sun up to sundown! Never seen her scootbutt on the floor. She was so not acting right yesterday I was ready to take her to the Vet's office ... on emergency! Peek a Boo walks like he's trying to fold himself in half ... middle of his back sticks up when he needs his glands done. He goes off feed also. Again, no butt scooting.

| ![]() I have a lady that does a full groom for 25$, she only does small dogs and she doesn't crate them after the dogs just hang out with her hubby in their living room until they are picked up. Last time Oscar was in they even took him outside to potty afterwards, and he potty for them, first time he had met them. He is going back in a few weeks now that I know that he needs a grooming at least every 6 weeks at the latest.

| ![]() I trust my groomer , and he only charges $20.00. I'll take Suzi in for a bath and her nails, ears done for that price. The only time it was expensive was when I had been in the Hospital and got behind on Suzi's grooming for several months . She was matted by then, and it cost me $60.00 . That was the highest . Now that we have a shih tzu, anther high maintence pup , however her coat is very different then a Yorkie's. She is more like a every soft down comforter ![]() Using a slicker brush and conditining spray in between professional grooming appointments has helped keep the matting out of the hair, and saved me so much money . I know Suzi feels a lot better too ![]()
