What are you wanting her to do with him? Just a bath and nail trim or a cut?

Bath,not a hair cut just a little trim so his hair won't be in his eyes and nail trim.

If you can afford the 60 and you trust the source recommending this groomer, I say go for it. I go to a more expensive place for my area because I truly trust them that they will both do a great job with the grooming and take EXCELLENT care of my babies while they are there. To me it's worth the extra money for my piece of mind. It seems worth it to pay a little more (as long as that works with your budget) to make sure your baby has a good first experience.

No way I honestly wouldnt pay that much just for a trim on his face and a bath!! That sounds wayy to high..plus he is a pup and he lookes under 3 lbs so I would look else where...Have you tried to give him a bath yourself? Is this going to be his first one? I use to do peanuts when he was a puppy all the time I took him to get his first cut when he had all his shots He was about 6 months...Does munchie have all of his..if not then I wouldnt take him to a groomer yet anyways, I would bathe him myself and trim his face myself that way you can get him use to it and you can bond with him more..If he isnt done with his shots and you want his nails trimmed..when you take him to the vet you can tell them to trim his nails.

wow that is alot... I paid 18.00 for her eyes to be trimmed, her nails, her potty area and paws.

Oh- just saw this part. Yeah- 60 is pretty darn high for just that.

Yes he is almost 5 months and has gotten his shots. I give him baths myself but he is looking really raggy especially with his hair in his eyes. Also he is 5 pounds

I think that's too high for just a little trim. If you were getting everything done (nails, anal sacs, wash, dry etc), then it would be fair, but for just a bath and quick trim around the face, I wouldn't pay that!

I was quoted $35 Canadian for Missy to get a full body cut, but that's for JUST the cut. I do everything else myself....and of course being the freaky over-protective Mommy I am, I haven't even brought her in there yet! :p

Thanks everyone. I was taking him the other day but when i found out the price I didnt know if it was to high or not being that this would be my first time. I think im going to find another place.

Do you think someone coming o groom him would be better

How do you know if the anal sacs need to be done? I've never taken Uni to the groomers, i do her myself, but I have never done the glands before. She never does the butt scoot on the carpet.
