| I have found that belly bands work great. At first, Captain Jack didn't like wearing them, but now he actually comes to me to get one on. He has stopped lifting his leg to mark inside the house and we don't have any little dribbles any more. There are several people on this forum that sell them. You can do a search for belly bands. Good luck. P.S. he still lifts his leg when he goes outside. |

| Has he been neutered yet? Of course, now that he has the mental imprint to mark his territory, it may be too late to avoid that habit. As Blancia suggested, your best bet at this time would be the belly band to be worn inside, and remove it for outside and walks. Then he can mark outside if he wants to, but it precludes him ruining furniture INSIDE. This is the equivalent of a diaper on a baby, so make sure you check it, change it, and clean him up (baby wipes) in between to help avoid urinary tract and bladder infections, let alone a plain ol' funky smell! |

| Hi Denzel Have you tried asking mommie if she will move into the forest with you? There are lots and lots of places to mark and maybe you could teach mommie how fun it is to mark too |

As Vwitscher said, little boys can be neutered as young as four months old. Once they've started marking it can be a hard habit to break. The sooner you get him neutered, the best chance you have that he will stop. | |
