| They Played for the first time!!!If you have a yorkie & a larger dog I gotta question My older and larger dog and my Yorkie played for the first time today. I'm so happy. The only thing about it is that my older dog is twice my yorkie size and i dont want him to get hurt. Should I let them play. I really would love them to but once again I dont want my yorkie getting hurt |

YT Addict | I think it is ok for them to play...but supervised. I have a Boxer and a Yorkie and they play around when I take Harley out for walks. Sometimes my Boxer can get a little wound up and it scares me when he starts bouncing around. I'm scared he will end up stepping on Harley (the boxer is prob 80-90 pounds). Whenever he starts playing rough I just take Harley inside. They get along great though. |

| I think that play is good if supervised. Roscoe and my miniature aussie plays together. She is about 25 pounds. She is great with him, of course that depends too how your larger dog is with your yorkie.

| Baxter (7 lbs) plays with Lucky (40 lbs) when we are outside. Baxter is downright mean to Lucky so I always supervise them because I'm afraid Baxter will hurt Lucky and then Lucky will hurt him back! Baxter has put Lucky on the ground barking and nipping at him and then would not let Lucky up. I guess because when Baxter was so little we made Lucky defer to him and not hurt him. I would never leave them alone together because one of them would end up hurting. |
