| For people with more than one yorkie Ok, me and hubby are sitting in the front room and I am on the laptop. One of our yorkies started barking, and I hear hubby ask "Which one is that barking?" I look at him like "Are you kidding?" "You can't tell?" So I tell him it was Buddy, and then I thought-I wonder how many others are like me and can tell just by the bark which baby it is? Hubby can't see how I can tell the difference-but I can! I even remembered when my skin-kids were little babies and if they were in another room with other babies and started crying-I could tell if it was my baby. So, how many of you with more than one can tell who it is just by the bark?

| well I can DEFINITELY tell! We have two yorkies and a german shepherd, so, with the BIG guy its easy, but the two yorkies are so totally different they have tone and also bark in a different WAY (like one barks like a big dog, the other is more stacatto bark-bark-bark sort of thing) and even when my dad's yorkie is here I can tell HIM in the mix (even though he and my lttle guy are from the same breeder) maybe its just a MOM thing? | Every one of our 4 has a different voice... Maggie is the high pinched arf-arf-arf, Minnie is the chatty one, Max is a deeper woof-woof-woof and our baby Mikki, the tiniest has the loudest voice a very adult ruff-ruff-ruff... DH knows them apart too... oh and we both can feel who it is on the texture of their coat... |

| All four of mine have a different sound to their voice and all their barks are different. I think my Brody has the funniest one he just lets out this really high pitched bark which almost sounds like a loud scream. Don't feel bad my husband can't tell who is barking either. Even when it's dark and we are all sleeping on the bed together I can tell by feel who is who. DH always says which one is this one. I guess I should be happy he remembers their names LOL.

| I can tell my two apart. when I have my back to them and one barks I can tell who it is. ( usually Anakin hehe...he is vocal until you tell him to stop.) Sometimes Jer can't tell the apart unless he looks them in the face and then he has to turn them over. I guess we just know.

| Mom's are just that way. We get to know them inside and out. Like what their pet peeves are and so on.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I can tell which of my 3 are barking. Also they all bark for different reasons, Cali is she sees a squirrel, rabbit or bird outside, Roxie if she sees a person outside and Pixie anytime I get up.
