| Blonde yorkies? I got a new baby (the one in the "honest opinions please what do you think of him?") He is VERY blonde. I've never seen a yorkie his color before. Are blonde headed yorkies common?

| Thanks for the info He is not a golden yorkie, he was born black. His body is a lighter color mixed with black but his head is blonder.

| All yorkies should have their head golden Pure golden head, not with grey or black or grey in it (except when they are puppies and still getting their true color) the back and tail should be silverblue.

| I'm so confused! OK my Allie (in my avatar) old photo but she still looks the exact same (same coloring) she is over 2 is that NOT norm? Brody (new male) is 6 months old hardly any black left in his coloring at all and very golden blonde head no black/silver at all. Thanks for trying to help me understand lol

| I love hearing you new mamma's fret over your babies. I forget what it was like for me with my first yorkie. I did the same thing. These lil guys go through so many changes it amazes me.

| Since a breed and show....I've watched many from puppy to adult hood. It's all dependent on the breeding/lines on how the changes transpire. I've never met a yorkie that I don't love.

| My Holly is a blonde. When she had her first litter, she had a female with the same coloring as her. Her is a pic of Holly when I got her at 7 weeks old. And a pic of her now at almost 3. And here is her daughter when born as a puppy, I will have to get a recent one of her, but she is just a litte darker than Holly.
