| Shelby & Seymour are both 7+ lbs. They are a little over 8! Shelby has lost a little weight now so she is about 8# 2 oz. (they are a few ounces overweight still and probably would be ideal at a little over 7#. There are lots of bigger Yorkies here on Yorkietalk.... and you are right..... we are lucky to have each and every one.

| my big boy is 4 months old and weighing in at 6 pounds, the vet says he might get up to about 15. thats fine with me i love him either way, but, whenever i bring him out with me (i bring him everywhere) people say oh whats he mixed with? im like nothing!! they think hes too big to be a pure bred yorkie, and I know he is!!! it makes me SO MAD because these people only know the tiny ones and I did my homework before i bought one and i dont want a tiny thing that can be broken and have all the health issues associated with having a so-called teacup(even tho theyre cute). but anyways, has anyone else ever had this problem? people acting like if theyre not 5lbs theyre not a pure bred??? |

| Tucker was weighed last at 12 lbs. he was 9 lbs forever. I have been doing more active stuff with him though and can still feel his ribs, so I think it must all be muscle!I'd also liek the link to the club. I heard of the teapot club but never knew there was a link to anything. What does the link go to? Hmmmmm

Me. Fido went for his checkup yesterday and the vet told me he had to loose weight, he is just muzzles on his feet but on his stumach and back, there is a bit of fat,but i walk at least 1 hour a day with him ![]() I have to put him on some diet food for fat doggies, and go on a daily bikeride so he will loose weight.
