| Allie is a tea pot not sure of her current weight but I'm guesing around 11-13 pounds. I think she is the PERFECT size especially in my house with 4 skin kids. She doesn't look that big to me. I think scales lie because I don't feel as big as they tell me I am either Our new buddy Brodt is going to be a tea pot too he is not much smaller then Al and he is only 6 months old. They told me he was 6-7 pounds...no way! I love my teapots

| I have a teapot. Nia is 10 lbs. For the longest time I was only looking for a 5 pounder but when Nia came along I was ecstatic and now I wouldn't even think about a smaller yorkie (no offense to the small girls and boys here on YT-I love you all). I love how sturdy Nia is, in fact her alias is Mop Top Robusto |

| What really ticks me off is when I am out with both of mine and people freak out over June and ignore Cash completely. A lot of people have approached me as well as some family friends (who want a yorkie, but don't know anything about them) and they are just interested in June. I feel so bad because then Cash just stands there. South Africans really go crazy over the little ones and they seem to think that there are different types of yorkies, like standard, miniature and toy poodles. I tried to explain once to our vet receptionist, but she was just like "So, the puppy is a teacup?" I think teapots are beautiful and I wish June would grow more. I hate it that Cash doesn't get that much attention, just because he is bigger.

| My girl is 13.5lbs. I love her size; she can hike with me, she plays with bigger dogs and children without causing me worry, and since my fiance and I hope to start a family within a couple years, we won't need to worry about her getting hurt by a toddler.

| Wow! There are so many of you who have large Yorkies. I too remember when I met my friend who had a large Yorkie. He was so pretty just like a small one in a large package. Her breeder told her he was going to be in the small 6 lb. range and I think he was 10lbs. He was the same height as my 20lb. pug. After I saw him I started to see more and more large ones around. They are so pretty. But I still love my tinies. I can take them on a trip to the coast hide them in my purse to get them in my hotel room. Then if I go out to eat or shopping I can just stick them in my purse again instead of haveing to wait outside or leave them in a hot car. They love to swim, fish, you name it they do it! Yorkies are the BEST. ![]() ![]() ![]()
