YT 500 Club Member | Was it helpful? I know I have been using it for just a few hours and Snickers seems to be more responsive.

| re: letting your dog know you are the boss Oh my goodness, my boys know I am the boss. See, I make sure that they know I'm in charge and what I say goes, but they still know that I love them more than anything, and will protect them from anything that could harm them. Sure, I punish them when they need it, but they are also spoiled little boys who get way too many toys and treats (hey, who could blame me? my puppies are precious!). I have never seen them get aggressive with a person, whether they touch or take away food/treats/toys, pull the hair/ears, or anything else. They put up with anything people do, which is good since I have brothers and friends with kids. I figure I'm the one who has to discipline the dogs, but I'm also the one that they go to for cuddles and everything else!

| This is a good list. Nice reminder of the little things we forget sometimes. Uni's pretty good at most of them, EXCEPT the walking part. She is a crazy sled dog as soon as she sees the harness/lead come out of my purse.

| Thank You! Thanks for Sharing.......I found this site awhile ago, after reading this article I printed it for future reference. I also ended up reading/printing other topics on the site too. It is incredible information! I follow this to the tee, especially since it is from Ceasar Millan. My 3 Yorkies are better Dogs b/c of this! You would be surprised how much this helps if you follow it, you will have a better relationship with them and actually bond much closer and better. I actually give a copy to my Private Clients that I Board and Train, I specialize in Pack Training for small Dogs.......mostly other Yorkies but I do have Clients that have s**tzu's and Pomeranians too! It sounds harsh but every word is true, Dogs don't respect Dog Lovers they respect Pack Leaders!

| If I did not take over being Alpha, Buddy would be behind doggy bars looking out. It's his main purpose in life to outwit me After 5yrs of Taurus vs Terrier I think he's finally excepted me as his Alpha. He's mellowing finally |

YT Addict | I don't do that stuff... and Emmett is the most well-behaved/loving dog I've ever met.

Your blessed! (IMO) Never knew one could go through so much with a puppy, I've been through it all. It's almost embarrasing to talk about because I've never read another story like ours unless some don't share the bad parts. Buddy's been a true challenge for me. I had no idea a puppy could be so aggressive towards so many things. It's behind us for the most part but he was no angel. | |

| I loveee hugging my dog...and throwing myself of the floor with her haah...she loves tug of war and never oversteps her boundaries...i guess you take some and give some up...as long as she knows whose boss i guess you dont have to follow allll the guidelines...the list def makes sense, but some are a bit much...to me anyway...i'm a sucker
