How'd your babies do with fireworks?

There was another dog that didn't fare as well. We go down on the beach and watch fireworks every year. This family brought their dog with them around 4:00, and didn't have it on a leash or watched it at all. When it ran off, they scolded it and dunked it into the water. The woman then took the soaking wet dog as though it were filth and walked it up to their van and left it there.... all night. They stayed for the fireworks and you could hear the dog's scared barking at the van.

I wanted to say something, but my mother and husband held me back. There were several intoxicated men in the group that looked like they would cause trouble. The dog made it through the whole ordeal, but I hope he made a stinky mess in their van!!

I would have been tempted to take the dog out of the van with me and bring it home!! Poor thing!

Ours and our childrens furbabies did well as could be expected. Laddy who thinks he is mr tough guy sat on my lap the whole time and never even flinched. Lolo and our daughters silky decided inside was where they wanted to be so they stayed in the house lol.
