| I was worried about Mimi cuz the last one she was shaking & hiding under the bed...well, she did great! I guess Momo's 'not scared of anything' attitude rubbed off on her.

| Poor Laya had a seizure as soon as some neighbors started setting of fireworks. It was so loud and not far from our windows. Poor baby had a rough night. She has epilepsy and if she gets really scared that is what happens. Finally got her settled down once everything stopped.

. I'm glad to know that she is feeling better now. This was Bella's first 4th of July and she did GREAT!!! She barley even acknowledged the noise at all. I didn't take her to the fireworks show, but you could hear them from the house and she just played with her toys as usual. She's such a little trooper

| Sorry, to hear about your lil Layla. Lexi is 8 months old and this was her 1st 4th of July. She pranced around all day in her little patriotic pooch dress and red, white & blue ribbon, she was to cute. We live on the Lake in which they set the fireworks off..Lexi at first shock like a leaf then decided she was a big girl and watched them all go off with us. Wrapped in her blankie...and every now and then growled. Hope everyone had a happy 4th |

| I live out where the smaller fireworks are legal for residents to purchase. Every year there is a fire works stand on each corner. Right at 12:00 AM suddenly we hear a gigantic BOOM , My Suzi and 9 week old pup are both laying on the couch with me watching TV. It scared me to death, it sounded like a Gun went off, and poor Suzi flew off the couch in a panic, there was a big flash as well. The puppy, it did not phase her. My son, hated it though. I am thinking "wonderful some igimos are drunk light off fireworks as soon as it turned the 4rth" They did this for 45 min more. Suzi was terrified, but, each time the fireworks became a little more quieter. It was the smell that was so strong. We went to my brother's home for BBQ and fireworks yesterday, by the time we got home everything was done and quiet on our street. The dogs were fine.

| Penny and my kitties all did wonderfully. We used to live in a small town where they would set off a few fireworks at the beach every Saturday night all summer long, and I think that accustomed the whole crew to them. We don't have them nearly as often here, but neither the dog nor the cats seem bothered at all when they do happen.

| My 3 Yorkies snoozed through them, changing positions and giving a bark when the very loud ones went off. My Pommies, now that was an entirely different story. Kept myself calm, kept to my usual routine, and it helped them. Didn't even go to the windows and watch. That would have really set the Pommies off. ~Joanne~

| Allie did just fine. We left her at home when we went out, but left the TV up really loud for her, so she couldn't hear the fireworks. There was another dog that didn't fare as well. We go down on the beach and watch fireworks every year. This family brought their dog with them around 4:00, and didn't have it on a leash or watched it at all. When it ran off, they scolded it and dunked it into the water. The woman then took the soaking wet dog as though it were filth and walked it up to their van and left it there.... all night. They stayed for the fireworks and you could hear the dog's scared barking at the van. I wanted to say something, but my mother and husband held me back. There were several intoxicated men in the group that looked like they would cause trouble. The dog made it through the whole ordeal, but I hope he made a stinky mess in their van!!
