| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | This is such great news, I'm so glad he's found his way back to you. I think the benefits of microchipping clearly out weigh the risks.

| What wonderful wonderful news!!! I am so glad I got Sassy microchipped! A word to the wise tho...if you have your baby microchipped MAKE SURE you register the number or it would be useless! I also have my vet periodically check to make sure the number reads with the scanner. Better to be overly cautious than not cautious enough. ![]() I hope your story gives some hope to those who still have a missing yorkie baby! Thank you so much for posting your story!

| What wonderful news! So often we here of missing, lost, and stolen dogs but to hear of one returned because of the micro-chip is fantastic! That makes me think maybe I need to go ahead and get chips for mine. I had been thinking about the tattoos but do not know where to go for them locally. So, what did the clinic do? Did they turn in whoever had brought your Chewie in? Will they be charged? I guess I want to see them brought to justice. All thievery is bad but stealing a person's pet is really low down! Give Chewie an extra hug from all of us here at YT! Congrats on getting him back!

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | So glad to read that your story had a happy ending. I would probably call the clinic that identified Chewie and ask them for any further information they might have....you might get more info than DH....just by telling them how happy this has made you. My puppies leave with microchips and I fill in the Avid form for the new owner. I always ask to be the 2nd person informed because sometimes I can help locate the new owners easier....especially if someone moves or changes their phone numbers and doesn't notify Avid. Keep us posted if you get any additional information on Chewie's adventures. |

| This is so amazing ! Congradulations on getting Chewie back ! I am so happy that he has made it back home where he belongs ! YAY ! The problem is that the people who brought him to the vet only had to say that they found him! Therefore , nothing really can be done about them having Chewie . That is the sad thing about it .At least it is over, and Chewie is back home with his family It is time to celebrate ! ![]()

| Amazing! I'm so happy for your family, and I'm glad hes back in his mommas arms again! I dont know what I would do if someone stole my Lola or my Bunz. My life would be soo incomplete without these crazy dogs. Definitely a reminder that nothings impossible and everything happens for a reason!

| What a wonderful story and one I will share with many clients at the vet clinic I manage. We always encourage out new puppy owners to microchip and sometimes it helps to have a true story to tell. I am so happy for you.
