I messed up. For some reason I thought you were in TX. Anyway, here is a wonderful rescue in Michigan:

RetroDoggy Rescue,Michigan Yorkshire Terrier Rescue,Michigan Maltese Rescue

Can you please contact the rescue and give them the info on thise remaining dogs. They shouldn't have to live in a heated barn

I read over all of the posts and wondering if I missed what the actuall weight of the pregnant mom is? I would also like to add that I'm happy this little one has found a home where she will be loved and treated like she deserves to be. Bless you for taking her in!

I volunteer with YHR our organization is BASED in TX but we have members all over the country. It is a little misleading to say TX. We have several members in IL. Did you purchase this pregnant yorkie off of a CRAIGSLIST ad?

I've been off the boards for several days so I am totally out of the loop! Someone fill me in on what the heck is going on? I'm very worried!

Actually I never mentioned what her weight is. She weighs 7 lbs.

Stephanie, I would like to welcome you and Miracle to YorkieTalk. It sounds like you are getting some good advice from some of our very experienced breeders.

Have you felt the pups move? If she will lay on her back, and relax, you should be able to see the pups moving this late in the pregnancy.

We were just looking and we think we were able to see them move but again the only sympton is the drop in temp. Nothing else, and its been over 24 hours.

hi there,
I hope all goes well for the mom to be . I would as others have suggested take her to a vet ASAP. At this late in the stage , something might be going on > I'd have her checked out , just to make certain everything is ok.

Hi Welcome to Yorkie Talk and to the wonderful world of owning yorkies! I'll say some prayers that Miracle has a safe whelp of healthy puppies. From the dates you've given and her low temps, I wouldn't be surprised if you have puppies before the weekend is up.

With no pre-natal vet visits I guess you have no idea how many pups there are. Did I see that she's had other litters before? Do you know how many pups she had with them? Does her belly look very big? Maybe you could post a picture of her belly for us. You've gotten lots of help from good breeders here; they will surely help you when Miracle's whelping time arrives. Good luck to you!

Glad to hear she is 7 lbs. I was getting the feeling she was under 5 for some reason. I don't know all that much about this but sending you wishes that all turns out good!

I don't now why they told you she's teacup (no such thing) when she's in fact 7lbs. Goodluck with your gal! I pray for a safe delivery.

Hi I am finding this site very helpful and appreciate the information I am seeing I am breeding for the first time so even though I have read and re-read and bought the drop pen, the whelping box assembled the kit, have the vet the ultra sound, scheduled the x rays arranged for vacation and and bred very carefully, my bitch is out of the Freedom line, the first time is nervewracking and it is a single puppy so I am scared to death.

I keep thinking there is something I missed or forgot or will mess up.

So thank you for posting the information.

Yes,she has had 3 litters before, last one was only one male. I am not positive about the others.

Yes, her belly looks big, actually bigger today than the last few days, she also looked like she dropped. as meaning that her belly now seems to be hanging.

But still no other signs that puppies will be her soon.
