| Sandy, Mia and Jack accompanied me to the Ventura dog show this weekend. The first day, Friday, Jack went into doggie overload. With all the dogs he thought his new mom took him to a playground and he was wild. But, this lil guy is just wonderful, smart, already knows the sit command. And the best part is he's potty and crate trained.....and such a teddy bear love bucket. Mia has accepted him and all is well in Sandy's home.

| ![]() I will try to get a better picture of the two new friends. This was taken this weekend in the hotel! Jack and Mia came home and have crashed on the couch. They are getting along well. Jack is fun, and what a blessing that he is potty trained! Thanks for all the help Mary! We had fun this weekend. You gotta be tired!! |

I've got Eddie and CJ to groom in the morning. Parker on Tuesday, but Jack we can do whenever you want. Mia needs to be groomed too. Not tired at all. The drive home was only an hour. Much better than next weeks drive.

| My husband says no more animals every time I bring one home. My first yorkie is now 17 1/2 yrs old. We just lost our 2nd yorkie at 16 yrs in March and she was wild about my husband. She had a daughter, Abbey that we lost 3 years ago due to a severly collapsed trachea, heart disease and lung problems - that was devastating for my husband because he worshiped that baby. I went and got a little Shorkie without telling him about 2 months after that and he wouldn't speak to me or the dog for three days - but you should see them now. She is under him every move he makes, sleeps with him and sits on the couch waiting for him to get home from work every day. She and he are in hog heaven when his off days roll around. Then came Abigale. I took her in only as a FOSTER from my vet. She had been rescued from a shelter and was attacked by the rescuers dog and injured pretty bad. I didn't want to keep her as I had the two senior dogs in bad health and did not want another senior dog. No one wanted her and my husband wouldn't have let her go to anyone else anyway. Since then I have pulled 3 dogs from the shelter and kept them until the rescue organization found them a home and took in an orphaned puppy to bottle feed until he was placed. My husband was really sad when the rescue group found him a home because he really liked him and wanted to keep him. Now he's telling me not to pull for the rescue groups anymore because it's so sad when they leave. Who would have thought. |

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | My husband agreed to one bunny and one dog that has passed due to old age. We have 3 dogs and 4 bunnies right now...LOL!!! It takes him a few days too and then sure enough...he's got them on the couch with him...kissing them...you know, guy stuff...lol!!!

| Ok here is another picture I took of Jack this morning. He slept well in his crate last night! Doing his business outside. He is just a little timid with my husband. Guess the last daddy he had was not the nicest person in the world. My hubbie thinks he is a cutie and is very pleased at how well the 2 dogs are getting along. Mia is better behaved with Jack in the house. I gave them both bully sticks this morning. Jack did not know what to do with it. After a very short while he caught on. It is fun to watch his personality come out a little more each day. Maybe I am crazy but I am setting a kitchen timer to remind myself to take him out often for potty! Clean house = happy hubbie! |
