My husband said no dog! LOL!! - Page 2 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Today as usual I go out to the shelter to meet jack and play with him. As I walk up to his cage 2 workers and the vet see me getting kisses through the fence. Jack remembers me and was so excited to see me again.

The vet looks over at his paperwork and says why is this dog waiting so long for his surgery? He needs to go home with this lady. The workers said they did not want to give her too many dogs to do in one day. She says, oh I will fit him in tomorrow!!!!!!

Then they said the prison that usually grooms is not grooming due to the holiday. They let me bring in a groomer to cut him down, bathe him clean him everything before his surgery. Thank you Mardelin for coming out to the shelter on a moments notice to groom this wonderful little boy!! (not exactly little!)

It was such a wonderful day! Topped it off with going to dinner and breaking the news to the hubby. LOL he was gracious and somewhat excited.

I get to go get him tomorrow at 2:30 instead of waiting until July 9th!! So I am happy. I have a new phone so I will have to figure out how to post some pictures.....

Big Jack looked cute before he was groomed, but after I finished grooming him you could really see how gorgeous his conformation is. Though not standard size, a beautifully put together dog. Healthy, happy and so well socialized. So glad he's going home with you and Mia's new big brother will be as spoiled as she is within a matter of days.

It was so cute watching him shake his head when you asked him to.

Mia will take it wonderfully, she's so socialized and happy and almost human in everything she does. Sandy has done a wonderful job with raising her and has already done her research on how to introduce a new dog into her home so that Mia will accept Jack and her territory won't be threatened. Having a brother is going to be the best thing for her as she loves playing with other yorkies.
