Hello and welcome ! Its your choice of course, but I wouldn't get my cats declawed ! If I did they wouldn't stand a chance against Mister Toby ! Somedays he is as sweet as could be to them and others.....well, they fight like cats and dogs ! When he has had enough, he leaves them alone ! And when he won't back down, I relocate him to another room ! good luck !

Welcome to Yorkie talk to you and Roscoe. My little furball plays with my older cat and the cat does not like it much; swats her in the face all the time! Good thing she has no front claws! I can see and understand your concern about your cat's claws. My cat's claws were removed years before we got our yorkie. Good luck with whatever you decide to do about your case. ~CD

I want to thank everyone for their warm welcome and all the advice, its always welcome....yes when I say I was worried about the winter months it was just for going out to potty..Roscoe is never outside alone, and is very much indoor, I would never even keep a bigger dog outside let alone a little bitty baby, Roscoe is already so spoiled...lol and will let the kitty keep her claws, she is also a baby well will be a year old in august...I would love any and all advice ya all have, this is my first yorkie, so its all new to me jen

Alfie loves deep snow, he has a sheepskin jacket for the winter. He bounces through the snow like a kangaroo, he lets us know when he has had enough, which isn't long, haha, as the snow collects in large lumps on his under fur.
