I understand that the risk of spaying is scary, but still it is much better for them. I have a baby that is just under 2 1/2lbs and she will be spayed in about 6 weeks. She is just finishing up with her first heat so we are giving her some time to get back to normal first I honestly wish that we would have had her spayed before this heat but I also wanted her to be done growing first

| your baby is so cute. you should spay her. but you need to make sure you find a good vet and make sure that they do blood test on her first and use the right kind of anesthesia since she is small.

| Wow - your baby is beautiful I agree with all the other posters.....it would be devastating lose her, which would be a possibility if you bred her as she is so tiny. Your yorkie is truly stunning...enjoy her xxx xxx

| I would definitely NOT breed her. I have a tiny one too and I can't imagine her tiny body trying to carry babies. It's just not worth the risk. |

| I would spay her with a vet that has experience performing surgery on tiny dogs. And WOW, is she ever beautiful!
