| Regardless of the dilemma, I'm just so jealous of the fun it sounds like you are getting ready to have!! ![]() I'm sure your baby will just be so excited to be with you and experiencing new things! The stroller is a very good idea, as well as a portable, comfy carrier! You can also get one of those retractable leashes that extends like 25ft. Have fun!!!!!!! |

| Are there no dogs allowed on the beach? Why not take them with you on the beach, just harness them, use a long retractable leash and have them be part of your family? I would nto ever consider teethering Yorkie's for any length of time. LIke others suggested , use a ex pen if you can't take them with you to places. Keep them in the RV, and make certain the Temp. is not HOT. Otherwise, if all else fails, maybe they can be boarded , or a family member can take them while you guys are away. IMO, is that owning dogs you have to always do what is right and GOOD for them. Never settle for anything that could possibly endanger them, especially a little yorkie.

| We live full time in our bus (RV) so Curly Mac is a fulltimer too. she does great but I do keep her leashed whenever she's outside. Mostly for her safety. I can't count how many times big dogs have come running towards us and I've had to snatch her up fast to keep them from eating her. She lovessss the ocean! Which is another good thing I keep her leashed cuz she ran right into the waves and loved it. Anyway, I hope you don't end up tying your baby to the rv, that would suck for her and she may not be there when you return! |

| thanks guys !! it looks like a long chain and harness. I think the post has been a bit mis understood,,,, I meant she would be tied to the rv only when we are in the sea (just a few yards away ) and when we are sitting outside. I would NEVER leave her out of sight not even for a nano second !! leaving her in the rv would be impossible also its just way toohot here today it was 32 degrees by 9 am. she would perish very quickly. I envy u guys sometimes , we are a very smal group of islands less than 100,000 people here, we dont have obedience classes or access to dog strollers and fancy things !! BUT we have endless beaches , and hot year round weather !! Kinnys is a girl and our baby, she comes virtually everywhere permitted with us locals think she is spoiled !!! |
