| LOL, I almost fell out of my chair on that one! OP -- Are we talking self-published books? I think most people are going to want more info before giving any information.

| What are the two books you have authored? Please give us the title and publisher? So, you intend to publish something here on the forum? I am not sure I understand. The whole forum is a conglomeration of all of our stories and reasons why we think Yorkies are the best breed in the world. That is sort of what the forum is all about. There are many years worth of stories here already. Your post is very vague as to your request and intentions. How do you intend to tell the world? You say you are "putting together some material." That suggests a project of some sort. Then you say "to post on here?" You are also very new to the forum so it is normal to ask questions when you make a request like this.

| my books are romance. i thought it would be cool to put a bunch of self written by owners special thougths about their yorkie, why they love them so much, what special things they do, what are your special moments each day with your yorkie, anything that could bring a smile to someones face. If someone comes and is thinking about getting a yorkie I thought this would be a neat thing for them to read, all the wonderful people's thoughts . Maybe a bad idea, I just thought other Yorkie owners were as proud as I am and wanted to share maybe not. |

| I would rather see a book about people and their dogs in general. I have 10 living with me right now and can tell you a bunch of stories..mostly how they keep me from going crazy. Yorkies are a WONDERFUL breed. Not all people area able to afford them. But if someone were to tell stories about all dogs, especially pound puppies, maybe, just maybe we would have more people getting pound puppies and not a mess like the 101 dals. **sorry..just my 2 cents that is prolly only worth 1 cent!!**

| So you did want us to give you material for a book. As YorkieMad stated, Yorkietalk beat you to it. Of course it isn't a book but anyone doing research on Yorkies will run into this forum, that's how we get many of our members. I believe more ppl wanting info on the breed will look on-line these days than those who will go out and buy a book. Our love for our babies is well-stated on every page of this forum and there are more stories than a library could hold. Just add yours to ours. We would love to hear about your baby. |

Someday I will do that. It is a dream of mine. Not to make money so much but to share the joy of all different animals.

| oh! I DO have a story for you.... My sister gave Edie a stuffed squeaky toy called the "postal plaything". It basically a stuffed postman doll. You can still buy them at PetSmart, I think. Edie loves her squeaky toys, and she knows them by name. I would always tell her to "go get the mailman" and she would return with that toy. One Saturday our mail delivery was late. I said to my husband, "I wonder where the mailman is???". A few seconds later, i heard a squeak by my feet. Edie had fetched her "postal plaything" and brought him to me! "Here's the mailman, Mama!" she was thinking. She is a smart little bugger. |
