| Thor's Human Donating Member | I used to do this, and I still will if Thor's been somewhere very muddy, but I've been getting laxer and laxer about it. Thor is so low to the ground that he gets dirty very easily. I don't know, I never felt like the wipes do much, maybe I'm using the wrong brand. I dunk Thor's paws in the sink if it's really necessary, but that guarantees bath zoomies, and usually I take him out to get him tired, not amped. I think he cleans himself anyway, no? He's kind of like a cat sometimes.

| I have children running in and out all day long that track in far more than little doggy paws do. If it is raining or muddy I do clean off my Golden Retrievers paws just with a dry towel because he loves to play in the water and makes a big mess. I don't worry about the germs though. I live in the country though, so my dogs don't walk in areas that any other dogs have been around. I rarely "walk" them because I have a huge fenced in backyard where they run many times a day, so they don't need the exercise. If I lived in the city I guess it would be something I might put more thought into.

| I wash both my girls feet each time we go for walks, the streets here still have lots of gravel and dirty. Then if grass is cut they get grass strain on their paws too and the sticky stuff from the pine trees stick on their paws too big mess

We started when he was a puppy.(I had white carpet when I got him ) Each time we came back inside, i would say wipe feet and then take each one of his paws at a time and wipe it on the entry rug. He was around 8 months when he was doing it on his own without me lifting his little paws for him I wish his potty training would have been that easy, lol

| I always wash my baby's paws when I get home from a walk.. I dont trust whats on the ground outside the house..... and I would be afraid if he liked his paws and then something might get him sick, so I always make sure he is cleaned as soon as we enter the house...

| I don't, i'm a big barefooting it person in the nicer weather myself though and I don't wash mine until right before bedtime.. my skin kids same thing. I suppose maybe I should at least wipe Coco's right before bedtime Just realized, then I should also be wiping Spooky's, Willow's, Chloe's and Ravens... that would be a lot of paw washing LOL
