| ![]() Poor Sophie Kate she ears are up most the way but the tips flop over. I love her just the way she is and would not want it any other way. I think my Avatar picture shows her "confused" ears.

| ![]() I think some pups looks just ADORABLE with floppy ears. Everyone always tells me Maddy has "a sweet face" and I think its because of those floppy ears! I love them both ways! Here is Maddy with her flops! ![]() |

| ![]() Mokey is almost 5 months and her ears are half up and tipped over. I am hoping they stay that way. Her mom is a floppy eared Yorkie and I would not have her any other way. ( Well of course I would. ) |

| ![]() Wow everytime I have a worry or concern I can come in here and find the topic I was looking for. I just got a new baby girl. We have named her Abigail (Abby) She is the sweetest little thing but her ears are not standing up. She is 4 months old. I was disappointed, but then came in here and see that this is common and it will be "alright" if they don't stand up. (Thought I had an odd ball) LOL Will be posting new pics of our new little cuttie. |

| ![]() Ramsey's haven't stood up yet, either. He's almost 6 months old now so I don't know if they will go up or not. We think it's adorable when he runs and his ears are flying all over. ![]() |

| ![]() My 9 month old yorkie, Dexter, had great ears that stood as they were supposed to. They have always seemed large to me, but yorkies do tend to have large ears some times. About 2 weeks ago, his ears flopped, changing his looks completely. He was still as cute as ever, but I was puzzled. I did a google search on this topic and read about calcium, hair, etc. One of the suggestions as to trim their ears by shaving the sides and upper 1/3. I was skeptical, as his hair didn't appear to be too long. Well, I did get a hold of them and the hair was at least 1 inch past his ears with past trimming. I shaved them up and cut the backs closely. Immediately they stood right back up. I was amazed and delighted! Last edited by Taylorfamof4; 09-05-2009 at 07:45 AM. Reason: added info |

| ![]() My yorkies ears looks identical to yours until I trimmed them really closely. I couldn't believe how little hair caused them to flop. It was amazing. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() I'm a stickler on breeding to standard, but I have to admit, I love the floppy eared look, I know a lot of people do all sorts of things to get the ears to stand, but the floppy ears can be so adorable. Thanks everyone for sharing your pictures!
