| ![]() My first dog is a yorkie, Cash, and I plan to start a breeding program in the future, so I will always have yorkies. I just love the breed! And a major plus is: I am not allergic to them. I had honestly thought that I would never find a dog that I am not allergic to. Just this weekend, I was sitting next to my parents' staffies and I got asthma after fifteen minutes. So, I am ecstatic that I can have yorkies! But, I would like to get a sheltie, an australian shepherd or a golden retriever, but only at a time in the future when someone else can also give the dog cuddles. I can't touch some dogs without having an asthma reaction, so someone would need to cuddle the dog, but I would love to get one! Stuck on Yorkies!!

| ![]() I'd have to say i'd like a shih tzu, papillion, or long haired chiuahua (SP?) (only prob w/ them is they shed...) I was VERY close to getting a papillion when i got my yorkie but the pap puppies just didnt really spark my interest. the parents were out of control when i showed up and i couldnt pull myself to decide right then. The next day i went to see honey and i fell in love w/ her mother and tried to get her instead :P and THEN i see the pups and wanted em all!!! but i just got one (darn!) anyway... i'm a huge anti shedding dog person. I can barely stand myself! my hair is ALWAYS falling out. But with a dog that sheds as much as me would drive me bonkers :O So that's why i'd try to convince the DH into getting a shih tzu. He kinda likes the mini dobermans BUT.... i like furry doggies lol so who knows what we will get next, maybe another yorkie ![]()

My furkids Donating Member | ![]() growing up as a child we ALWAYS had a dog...most of the time 2 at a time...growing up we had "mutts". "My" first dog I bought was a cocker spaniel, then I got a golden, then an irish setter, then a mix, then a cross, then another cross, then I got my yorkies...I love all breeds of dogs but now that I am older the smaller ones are easier to handle...they don't pull your shoulder out of the socket when you are walking them!! LOL. I will probably always own a smaller dog now...There are several small breeds that I would love to own.

| ![]() When I was born, my family had a lab mix. She was the sweetest thing. Then we got a dalmation (NEVER again), and when the lab passed we got a shih-tzu (who became 'my' dog). After that, my mom wanted a dog of her own, so she got a second shih-tzu. My first real dog was Couver. I plan on getting at least one more when we get a house! I've fallen in love with the breed! ![]()

| ![]() Edie, my Yorkie is my first dog. We adopted a Westie a few years ago. She and Edie are the same age, and they have become the TEAM OF TERROR. They are so funny together. |

| ![]() We have Tina, a toy schnauzer that is the same size as our yorkie, Kayla. We have a yr. old mini schnauzer named Lexi that is Kayla's bud. Sunday we are getting Dudley a 13week old yorkie. Adorable! Can't wait. And before all this brude we have had just schnauzers and a doxie. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() When I was 10 I had 2 siberian huskies. Sadly we had to give them away because we moved out of the country and could not take them with us. Then I got my yorkie 2 yrs ago, after that my husband convinced me to get our Boxer in February of this year, then 2 wks ago we got our Bella (another yorkie)! I love my puppies but I would like to stick to small dogs. Big dogs make bigger messes in every way! ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Through the years I always had min poodles and when the last one passed on I decided to get a yorkie. I had my little Chipper for 13 years and when he was gone I missed him so much. I just really missed the yorkie personality and knew that would be the only other dog that I would want. I now have Piper and though she is totally different than Chipper she has that Personality and Spunk that I just love in the yorkie breed.
