| Yorkies and Parks, hahaha I've been reading all these posts where you guys go to the parks and have people say rude things to you. My husband and I took Hannah to the park and I decided to bring Tyler (first time in a park of any kind for him). I laughed to myself as we were on our way, thinking how funny it would be if someone said something to me about Tyler. Well.... lo and behold some kid comes along and says "Awwww....look at the funny looking dog!!" And gives Tyler a noogie on the head. Ugh. I could have said something very ugly. But one, he was a child, and two, MY child was right there. I just laugh it off and think at least now I can be part of the "My yorkie was made fun of" club. |

| Your dog is not funny looking, he is cute and so is your little girl. Next time someone says that to you tell them if the want to see a funny looking dog look to look at Sophie Kate. As you can see I joined the thick skinned Yorkie owner club awhile ago. Most the time they are just jealous that my dog is cuter then theirs LOL.

| In my head I would have said, "What a funny looking kid!" and see how he likes it! But I would never actually say that!! haha. I have yet to join this club and I am scared for the day of my initiation!

Thor's Human Donating Member | I have the opposite problem. Kids adore Thor, I think partly because they see a doggy who is little like they are. They throw themselves at him, sometimes literally. Fortunately, he handles it very well, and will Sit and take a treat from the brattiest kid without blinking an eye. It's a relief, considering how uncomfortable he is around other dogs. Not to hijaak the thread, but he met a ~20 week maltese girl today who weighed 1 1/2 pounds - and he was terrified. She was just sitting in her owner's arms looking all cute, which Thor took to mean that she was a Clear And Present Danger. Sigh. Poor, neurotic Thor.

| I too have thought gosh where do they run into these people that say stuff like that. It happened to me last night for the first time. I was walking Coco around the neighborhood and some man who was walking as well passed us and said... Oh, I thought you were walking a rabbit
