I have the opposite problem. Kids adore Thor, I think partly because they see a doggy who is little like they are. They throw themselves at him, sometimes literally. Fortunately, he handles it very well, and will Sit and take a treat from the brattiest kid without blinking an eye. It's a relief, considering how uncomfortable he is around other dogs.

Not to hijaak the thread, but he met a ~20 week maltese girl today who weighed 1 1/2 pounds - and he was terrified. She was just sitting in her owner's arms looking all cute, which Thor took to mean that she was a Clear And Present Danger. Sigh. Poor, neurotic Thor.
