| ![]() I thought about doing Shelby Rae's grooming myself because she hates going to the groomer and i hate the way they put her in a cage till i get there and I make them call me as soon as they're done so I can go get her...but the thing that holds me back is that I'm terrified of doing her toenails...i heard they can bleed out if you cut them too short....

| ![]() What a wonderful setup. What a great idea for the towel racks. I store all of my babies' things in the laundry room (their room) which is right off of the kitchen. I do all of the grooming on an island in my kitchen. I have most of my grooming supplies in a cute bag that I can just carry over so its a breeze. I like your set up though.. making me think about trying something new! ![]()

| ![]() Great Idea......I set up my Grooming Area on top of my Dryer I have a portable Grooming Table from Petedge, the kind that rotates. On my washing machine I have a Dog Couch/Bed and I use one of the cabinets over head to store all their Grooming Supplies. It's a few steps away from the Sink in the Kitchen, its convenient for Bathing and brushing their Teeth. I have my Table/Chairs in the Dining Room so we don't Eat near it. I do all of their "Grooming" myself I do all 3 like an Assembly line every morning. Having a designated area keeps you organized and makes Grooming quicker/easier and gets them used to a routine, they know once they are done we are going "Bye Bye" ![]()

| ![]() Wow, what a great grooming area! Before my DH built my grooming/dog room I had to use the kitchen counter! Gosh how I hated that.... I've been grooming dogs professionally for 33 years, it only took 19 of those years to get a grooming area of my own!

| ![]() I have some questions. how soon can you bath a puppy? what is a good shampoo and conditioner? This may sound crazy , but I myself use this silk serum in my hair when dry ,makes it silky. Do they have this for yorkes?
