I'm going to quote myself here, as i believe I may have been the first poster here to comment on the grammar thing. I didn't mean any disrespect to anyone who doesn't proofread, makes the occasional typo, types too fast, etc. My comment was just my way of *trying* to be funny about how the OP's sentences runsalltogetheranditshardtoread.

We all know if we don't have paragraph breaks sometimes we reread the same line over and stuff gets confusing. If I were trying to change someone's mind about something, I would try to make it easy to read.

Show dog vs pet... I see no difference. My Showdogs are my pets during showing and when they are finished showing! They are pets first

They didn't mean it that way hun. You bet they are all our pets. They are talking about the quality, what is closest to the Standard set by the AKC. Some met the Standard and cost more, others don't and usually are less.

I have been reading this thread for an entire month now. In the beginning I was so happy to have found this thread. i couldnt wait unitl I had enough funds to support it. Unfortunatley, this was short-lived. have you actually gone through this thread and read it? It doesnt help ANYONE in anyway. It doesnt YORKIETALK IN ANYWAY. I think that when these threads become like this it should be closed immediatley for the sake of YorkieTalk. It only show the worst of this site and I believe there is much more to Yorkitalk then this. I say something because recently I have found nothing but the threads being started turning into so much drama. IT is NOONE in paticular, its everybody. This is the second major drama Ive read on here apart from the already not so dramatic rude and nasty comments on other threads. Anyway Im done here. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me when I joined but no thanks.

I am sorry you find these discussions offensive. I agree that some of the threads get a little heated, off topic and sometimes downright rude but those threads are just a very small portion of what YT is about. YT has many thousands of members and I am sure that a large portion of those have learned so much since coming here. Many have found wonderful friends through YT. For some reason people seem to be drawn to the controversial threads and many just like to express their opinion.

Life is full of controversy. I compare YT to watching TV, some shows are entertaining, some are educating and some are downright disgusting but that does not mean you have to not watch tv because of the bad shows. I do hope that if you enjoy the less controversial part of YT that you will stick around.

I agree with bjh, you should stick around. I have to admit, I almost closed shop myself after reading one thread but I decided not to because YT does offer much more than the drama and you do have the choice of participating or not participating in certain threads ...although, I know it's hard because I too have found myself drawn to a couple of contraversal threads.... You should stay for that reason alone, what I mean is, be part in those topics that aren't driven by rudeness...Be a part of what makes YT good! I hope you stay, I want to see what Ksena's cousin looks like when she's all grown up

Im sorry I know this post was for admin but I would just like to say that things always will get heated in certain threads as people are passionate about what they believe in.
We will all never agree about certain things, what a boring world if we did.
So long as it is constructive and no one gets hurt then we should value other peoples opinions , even if we do not agree with them.
This site has so much to offer and you can choose which threads you read and the ones you do not.
I hope you stay as one day I might need your advice too.

Back to the thread, I do realize that there will be various differences of opinion and yes you can compare YT to TV...I totally agree but TV doesnt have rules they ask you to abide by and there is no one to control what is put on TV the way there is on YT. If a thread is going no where and not helpful to anyone just hurtful to many why cant the thread be closed.


Do you realize this thread had gone from the initial argument to people upset for correct or incorrect grammer to people fighting about popularity contest? This is a controlled forum and it is not being controlled.

people have to report posts and threads in order for them to be clossed. You can't just make a post to admin (like you did). Chances are they won't even see it. That little red triangle under peoples names on the left is especially for reporting rude or offensive posts.

just don't follow a thread if it bothers you...this forum is for education, communication and entertainment. (and for looking at all the cute yorkie pictures) if you are a yorkie owner, it's so important to have this forum as a resource to help you answer questions you run into when raising your yorkie(s). i learned a lot about diet, health, vaccine, and training of yorkies on this site, a lot of things that my vet doesnt' know about. (or doesn't have time to talk to me about)
