				 | Has the OP been back on here at all? Without going back through all the posts, I don't recall him/her coming back on her for any kind of update... or did I miss it?

Absolutely I hope she does everything to find the owner, and it sounds like she is. It's been heartbreaking to see what some people have gone through when their yorkies went missing. I just wanted to point out that it is possible that the owners aren't around. Anything could have happened; this yorkie could have been stolen from another state and then let loose near the OP. Bottom line, she is taking care of the dog, and that is what is most important. I'm sure the owners would be / will be grateful to know that.

				 | I thought the OP said she was in L.A??? Los Gatos is no where near LA. They are at minimum, an 8 hour drive and probably further depending on where in LA she is. Just wondering, I may be confused but I thought I read that. |

				 | Her zip code shows HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA. I don't know if it helps as far as the distance. Are you fairly close to her? We have all been following this thread and we hope you find him. Hopefully she'll log on soon. Carol and Jemma |

				 | I spoke with Nick yesterday and the little guy I found is not his yorkie. I followed up on all of the craigslist postings and none of them are a match. I know it may seem hard to believe, but I really don't think his owners are looking for him. Like I mentioned earlier, the procedure for finding a lost dog in los angeles county is pretty straight forward. I'm still checking CL everyday to see if someone posts anything for him. I am also looking out for posters in the neighborhood where I found him. He is adjusting nicely. He is not nearly as depressed as he was when I found him. He is eating and going to the bathroom regularly. As much as I like the little guy, I was not planning on a dog. I am very unsure of myself as a dog owner, which is the reason that I never bought a yorkie for myself. I understand and respect all of the time and attention it takes to raise a pup in a good and healthy environment. I am so afraid to make things worse for him. I'm not sure at what point I am supposed to give up looking for his owner. I'm trying to do the right thing, but I just don't think his owners are looking for him. Once again, thank you for the kind words. PS - for some reason, my posts take a very long time to be posted, but rest assured that I intend to update you caring people as much as possible. |
