Like I mentioned earlier, the procedure for finding a lost dog in los angeles county is pretty straight forward. I'm still checking CL everyday to see if someone posts anything for him. I am also looking out for posters in the neighborhood where I found him.
He is adjusting nicely. He is not nearly as depressed as he was when I found him. He is eating and going to the bathroom regularly. As much as I like the little guy, I was not planning on a dog. I am very unsure of myself as a dog owner, which is the reason that I never bought a yorkie for myself. I understand and respect all of the time and attention it takes to raise a pup in a good and healthy environment. I am so afraid to make things worse for him.
I'm not sure at what point I am supposed to give up looking for his owner. I'm trying to do the right thing, but I just don't think his owners are looking for him.
Once again, thank you for the kind words.
PS - for some reason, my posts take a very long time to be posted, but rest assured that I intend to update you caring people as much as possible. | Thanks very much for keeping us updated & looking out for the little guy. |
