| Yorkie Stairs for ~$28.99 at Target Hey all, Since some of you may be interested in stairs for your Yorkie, (for easy access to the couch, bed, etc.) you may want to check out the kids storage department at your local Target. I was there just browsing the aisles, and they have these small storage units for about $29 or so that would make PERFECT stairs for a Yorkie. They really are built like stairs, have two steps, and the top opens up for actual storage. Nice. They aren't "officially" for a Yorkie but actually for children. However, they are the perfect size/width to do the job. My local target had them in two colors, white and a natural wood color. They are finished with a gloss that looks nice too. They don't have soft fabric on the top of each step, but that would be so simple to get at a fabric store and simply use a staple gun under each stair to adhere any fabric pattern you wish. I checked their website, and unfortunately I didn't see it online for a full picture/description. I just wanted to pass along this info in case any of you are headed to Target in the near future. Check out the children's storage area. Since I seem to be at target all the time, I'll look into getting the exact price/make/model of the unit in case anyone is interested. Good luck! |

| Thanks Mike! They obviously don't beat your custom stairs for Otis, but this is a nice find! I may have to check it out, since uhh, Yoda's steps are still in two big pieces of wood. Heheheh |

| I just happen to have these things! I got them for my son a year ago or so from....you guessed it....Target! I have no idea what they cost then, but here's the pics of them. Oh yeah, nevermind the hinge on this set, cuz my son pushed the top back too far and stripped the hinged top plumb off of the stool/steps. I had to rig it with a new hinge to get the top to stay on.
