| Warning please read!! PLEASE anyone who feeds tbeir dog Chicken Soup PLEASE STOP FEEDING IT. I posted in the sick forum that Noel had bad Diarhea and was looking for what to give her. I had no idea it was from the food. Shortly after posting ALL my Yorkies started with the bloody diarhea and my Lilly got very sick throwing up, listless and diarhea. I started to then wonder if it was the food. I have been feeding them this food for a long time no problems until now. I called the vet but did not mention the food thing, just said about the diarhea and what should I do. He thought it may be a bug and told me to feed them rice and if not clear in a few days then bring them in. Tonight at work, the owner of the store I bought the food at came in and I asked her if she had any problems with Chicken Soup and she said that she's had three returns this week and that she called the company and that they told her they changed the formula but that it should not make any of the dogs sick. They told her to send in the can for analazis. Well, I still have four cans and I am not returning them. We all know how these food companies analize and cover up. By the way I also found out that Diamond Food is the manufacturer of Chicken Soup and in case you don't know it Diamond Food was involved with the food recall last time. PLEASE DON'T TAKE A CHANCE DO NOT USE CHICKEN SOUP. I am sick over this and pray to God my dogs are alright. I'm watching them. The vet is closed until Tuesday now and I'm a wreck. I may have to take them to the emergency vet. They seem fine just sick and diarhea. Elaine |

| Are you feeding the Chicken Soup canned food or dry? I had been feeding Chicken Soup but two weeks ago the place where I buy it ran out and they still have not got any more in stock. I hope they have not messed with the dry formula. I pray your babies will be okay. Please keep us posted. |

| I use Chicken Soup (adult formula) so it would be Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul however, I would caution you to be careful at this point with ANY of their products. I would think that the Puppy Lover's Soul may also have a changed formula as well. Don't know for sure but I will not use any of their canned again and I will not use the dry either. I think it's better to be safe then sorry. Elaine |

I am using Chicken Soup canned food. I have always used canned and dry but will NEVER use either again. Also what gets me is they told the pet store they changed the formula but never put that info. on their label. I'm not sure if the food is bad or the formula change is the issue but I can tell you that I have five very sick Yorkies and I'm REALLY PISSED. Elaine | |

| Wow! I hope all of your babies are going to be all right!! I'm so sorry this happened to you. Thank you for the warning to everyone! So many food companies change their formulas without saying anything! There should be an advisory put on labels of dog food whenever a formula has changed.

| It is possible that something else is going on. Was it a different flavor of canned food? If I feed my anything with beef in it they get sick. I remember the Canidae scare where everyone was slamming Canidae for changing the formula but my yorkies never got sick. I do appreciate the warning though, you really never for sure if any dog food is safe. |

| I would definitely contact them and hold on to the old food. I have never fed the canned food so I did not know they just had one kind. How are your babies now? Do you think they need to go to a vet? If you have to take them to the vets then I would make sure the dog food company gets the bill. Please keep us posted on how your babies are doing and what your find out from the Chicken Soup Co. |
