| Help: Momma is 5lb. Daddy is 2.10 pd. There baby was born on 7-23-05 and as of today female weighs 1.6 lbs. so about what would she weigh as a adult.? Also, the momma is black/tan the daddy looks like all brownish or redish dont know from pit. So what will the pups carry over the most mom or dad. My guess is both oviouslly but im just couroues.

| The males genetics and DNA are usually dominant I have heard but that may be wrong. When she gets to 8 weeks double the weight. She will probaby weigh about 5 lbs it sounds like. |

| Thanks for your respos. I thought the same thing about the dominants stuff. But I just needed to hear it from someone else. I am not a breeder but I know what i am looking for in a pet.

| Its usually triple the 8 week weight or double the 12 week weight plus a pound.

| I think it's very hard to guess the weight. Gus was like 1.7 at 10 weeks when I got him. The breeder told me he was going to be around 3.5 to 4 lbs,,,,,, he is now 17 months and is 2.9 lbs. And as far as his coloring,,,, he is much darker then both his parents.

| My Lexi was 1lb 6oz at 11 weeks and is now 5lbs 6oz at 9 1/2 months...

| it is triple the weight at eight weeks and double the weight 12 weeks....as a guess I would say 4.5lbs but it really depends on the mom and dad and further back.
