| some times i just have to laugh when ever someone list something on this site some people just have to be negative and if you really think about this she is a 5.8-lb female and she's the one that had trouble having her puppies my little 3 pound girls had no problem at all having there puppies they did a great job and it just seems to be that way for me when ever i hve a bigger dog have puppies it has always been grief for me and i have never had problems with my little ones for some reason but it also has a lot to do with your male and females they have to match up pedigree wise to breed them if you do your home work and research what you have and match your dogs up properky genetically you will have no problems some people who breed have no idea how to do this it takes years to learn

| Thank you for replying it is still a mystery to me because from the hundreds of posts I have read in the breeders section they say never breed a tiny 3 pound female. And when you are told about red flags that is one of the ones warned about. I personally if and when I decide I want to do this will never breed a female under 4 1/2 to 5 lbs as that is what most of the breeders I have spoken to recommend. I am glad you say you care for these puppies so well. I just felt I needed to ask the questions. Quote:

| So glad to hear this sweet girl is going to a good home. I also was a little confused about the size of nlapp's babies because I was told a good breeder tries to breed to standard. Not judging here because I know absolutely nothing about breeding and am also a newbie to yorkies lol. JMO. CharleneMama to Laddy and Lolita |

2-lbs. If i didn't feel as though it was safe for them i would never breed them i measure there pelvises and every thing before i ever think about breeding them and i wait until they are at least 2yrs old and done growing and i myself am only 4'6 inches tall and i had 5 children myself who i love dearly maybe thats why i like the little ones there just like me what if they told me i was to small to have babies to love? I would be without children who are my greatest gift

| Ok at risk of getting yelled at I am sitting here and my mind is racing and won't rest so I am going to say this I appologize before hand if I offend anyone. I am in the process as lots of you know of adopting little Lolita who is 3.9lbs and was used as a breeder. She is now 5 years old and was rescued by Jen. She was spayed today and did well but at the time also had to have several teeth removed. IMO these tiny little girls should not be bred. It is just to hard on them. Our little male is 3.2lbs now and I cannot imagine ever breeding a little girl that size. It just boggles my mind. I talked to my vet about Lolo and she said that their little uterus and pelvis is generally way to small to be used as breeders. I think I will take her word for it. Again sorry if I offend and waiting to be yelled at. Its ok I can take it lol. |

If she wanted it to be strictly a "for sale" thread, she should have posted it there and followed the guidelines. | |

| I know, but, 4'6" on a person isn't that tiny, I've seen people smaller than that, now, yeah, if she were 4'6" and weighed 20 lbs, then that would be dangerous, but, just being 4'6" doesn't make it dangerous to have kids. |

| I just did the calculations and might give you something to think about. For you to be in the same catagory as your little girls you would have to be 4'6" and weigh 22 lbs. |

| first of all i only weigh 86-lbs and second of all i was doing was finding my girl a good home and i though if i listed her here with yorkie lovers she would get one which she did i wasn't selling her so why would i post her in the for sale adds. If i didn't love my dogs i would have bred her again i did get 1 puppy from her. Heres a cute little story I have 4 mama's in my room that are due to have there babies and they all picked there own whelping box there going to have there puppies in so there all sitting in there little boxes in there little fleece beds with there heating pads underneath that so they can be warm that they can easily get in and out of so excited just waiting to have there babies to love. then Lulu is in her box with her puppies and Molly is in her box with her puppies and they all have to peek in on them once in a while and see what Lulu and Molly are doing i love what i do and i really enjoy this why is it some on here always has to make a good thing bad.
