| I too was scammed by the Dane brothers. I am so sorry for your bad experience. I bought my "oni" from his brother Steve and he is just as bad. In fact in doing research, after I bought my pup, I found out Steve got his brother into the business and it is a shame for them to call themselves a breeder. I bought the concept of a "teacup" and paid dearly for it although not as much as you did. Today "Oni" is 5 months old and 6 lbs. When I got him at 12 weeks he weighed 1.5 lbs and was very sick. I had to take him to the vet with diarrhea and he was put on anitbodtics for 10 days. Even at 13 weeks he was still 1.5 lbs. But by the time he was 18 weeks he was almost 6 lbs. Now that is gaining over 3/4 a pound every week. I have raised german shepherds that I wish would gain that much. It has been a bitter sweet story for he is the smartest small dog I have ever own but who know what he will weigh. It has been hard to accept the fact that my yorkie is not only big but could be over the standard size. I believed the growth chart and did not come across this site before it was too late. I am hoping that he is doing all his growing and then will stop. He is very stocky build and short legs and that helps. Anyway, these brothers are scam artist and put a shame to the business. I am glad your is healthy. |

I'm so sorry that you had to go through all that heartache... ONI looks so cute and cuddly regarding the size... My oldest yorkie Crusty is 2yrs and 8.6lb!!!not even close to standard size (compare to CsiCsu 1.8lb-6month, he's giant! but I think he still looks cute~) Pople like us(scamed by Jeff&Steve) should get together and write a petition!!!! There must be some way to stop BAD BREEDERS like those guys.

| Yes, Steve is his brother(yourpup.com) and the link on his website. I email and ask what size was the dame and sire and expressed my anger. Of course no reply. This is just money to them and they don't care. I know now you can't guarantee a size but to advertise teacups you would think he would have at least started with small size parents or a record of them throwing small dogs. It is only about the money. Bigger the dog larger the litter, the more money. So I do wish I could report or protest people could give quality breeders bad reputations. My next yorkie will be approved and on this site. I believe you will grow out of your problem. And I am still believing my will stop growing. |

| If you go to this website yorkiepups.com and look at the non yorkie stuff link, there is property listed for sale and states it is next to a "million dollar home", this is Jeff Dane's new home. He has recently relocated and built this "million dollar home" for himself. My husband drives back and forth weekly in this area and was just telling me about this yesterday...Obviously raking in some $$$$. Quite an upgrade from his previous operation. I just don't understand. YOu read several areas of how rude he is on the phone and through email responses, that he sells alot of sickly dogs and for absolutely ridiculous prices. He has many many complaints about him and he still operates!!!! Why don't people stop buying from him! Every red flag there is about so called breeders is there. How big do you have to be to be called "industrial"???

| I just went to yorkiepup website since I've never heard of them either. Wow, those tinies look so weak. Some are all leaned up against the wall and hanging on to the coke can for dear life. Some have to have someone hold their heads up! I'm so sorry you got duped along with everyone else who buys from him. |

| Jeff Dane Hi Everyone, On February 9th 2012, my life partner went to this breeder's site and found Max a six month old teacup Yorkie under the rescue page of his site. We immediately called and advised we would take him. I met him at his home in Bells, Texas where Max was in the house. He gave me a story that Max was wrapped up in a blanket and was suffocated by his previous owner, causing him to be blind and had a mental disability. Of course I did not care I wanted him. He proceeded to tell me about one little dog he had, 6 months old, Micro Teacup Pocket Yorkie named "Kibbles n Bits". How she was a $10,000 dog but she was dropped on her head by her previous owner and could not walk. That she required 24 hour care and fed through a syringe. I said I would take her because my dad is home all the time and I knew he would help me care for her. He told me that the vets have tried everything for her. When he drove me out to the shed that was converted to a kennel, all the babies were in these cages that were lined all along the wall. The smell was horrendous. Trash Barrels in the center of the kennel. He proceeded to take me to the very back where, now named Ellie Mae, was caged. Her head was all matted and her body was shaved. She was on an extremely high dose of steroids, she was disgusting. Force feeding her baby food from a syringe. She was miserable completely skin and bones and she could not walk. I took her. When I got to work with the babies (Max and Ellie Mae) he kept emailing me, make sure she has a heating pad, and make sure she gets syrup and lots of love. I cleaned up her head when I got home, I took her off the syringe and she ate perfectly fine and the very next day I took her to the Golden Triangle Animal Hospital because she could not breathe and had a horrible cough. I asked Jeff for all her records so that my vet and I knew where they left off and he told me there are none. He told me they had all their shots yet there is no record of this. When I took Ellie Mae to my Vet. He researched the website of the breeder and thought it was very suspicious. He called the vet that was listed on the steroid bottle and he asked what tests and procedures were done, they did not do anything for her but diagnose her with water on the brain and gave her a ridiculous dose of prednisone. Ellie Mae and came back positive for Giardia, she had Pneumonia, and she was malnourished. Ellie Mae was not dropped on her head and Max was not suffocated, they both were diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. This is known as water on the brain that can cause issues with their brain receptors causing blindness (Max), walking in circles (Max), seizures (Max), coma, death, and a paralyzing state (Ellie Mae). My Vet prescribed Prilosec, antibiotics (Clovomax) and also medicine for the Giardia and AD soft dog food. After two days of being on the meds Ellie Mae began walking, however, on February 17th still could not breathe so I took her to the emergency animal hospital in Benbrook. The advised me that the steroid Ellie Mae was on was horrendous dose for her size (Jeff had her on it)and she needed to be weaned from it. He also prescribed her another antibiotic and a nebulizer prescription. Now this baby girl is running around, playing and happy. If anyone else took her they would have put her to sleep. This is how bad the state she was that she was in. It is now April 27, 2012, her fur is growing in fully, with dandruff like cradle cap because she had almost no fur before. Unfortunately Max took a turn for the worst within one night. He lost his hearing and sight completely and quickly had tumors on his neck. He passed away last night. I am so angry and I am sooooo worried about Ellie. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | It is appalling to me that this man is still in business! For all those that have bought his sick puppies, I would be trying to unite and file a class action lawsuit (if that's even possible).

| Are there any kennel requirements in Texas? Does anyone do inspections of such facilities to make sure that they are clean and have proper cooling and heating conditions? Some states have taken small steps to reign in these breeding dumps but I don't know if Texas is one of them. Certainly such filthy conditions should be inspected by someone! Many of these puppy millers and byb's treat their own animals. They get a vet who will give them prescriptions and they purchase from online dealers. How sad for those poor suffering babies. |

| I wish there was a way to stop him, there has to be. All the SPCA told me was that there is no puppy mill law in Texas. As long as they have food, water and shelter. I sent her an email back and said there has to be something we can do. I would love to set up a class action law suit against him just to get the babies out of his care! |
