In the meantime, between the time I got Lucy and the time she died, I decided to breed Yorkies and got 2 more females that were 5 and 6 lbs. After my sweet Lucy died, I gave up on everything and decided to move into an apartment. I could only take 2 dogs and I knew I would want to take them everywhere I could. So, because I have a REALLY bad back, I wanted to keep the 2 smallest. If I had still had Lucy, I would have kept her and Caesar, as she weighed just a little over 4 lbs. Caesar and Hero were the two smallest. I found great homes for Cookie and Ciara. I can see them whenever I want to and they are extremely happy being only dogs. I made sure they were both spayed, so they wouldn't get into a bad situation birthing litter after litter till the day they died. Last edited by majic50; 05-14-2009 at 02:02 PM. | |

| ![]() I am very sorry for the loss of your prescious Lucy. You have been through so much with your Yorkies. But, with the two males marking , I think it is wise to use belly bands or something to prevent them from peeing all over your apartment. The fire Hydrant is a cool idea. Maybe this is a possibility? ![]()
